Saadia is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC, with several years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I have provided care in a variety of therapeutic settings including, Private practice, Outpatient, Inpatient, and Community Counseling. I most often work with individuals (ranging from 18 years+) and couples. I mostly work with individuals who have an Eating Disorder, severe trauma (utilizing EMDR), overcoming depression, anxiety, acute trauma, Post-Partum / Perinatal challenges, and life adjustment-transition issues.
I am a Certified-Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Professional (CDBT). My therapeutic orientation is eclectic and I provide counseling from various theoretical orientations: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Client-Centered.
For clients seeking restoration from severe or moderate trauma, I am trained in serving these populations with EMDR. I am also am a bilingual therapist and can provide therapy in both Urdu and Hindi as well.
