Caryn Jurek, PMHNP-BC, has been an incredible addition to our Grow Wellness team and offers over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. Working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Caryn has taken notice to the stigmas associated with mental health and focused much of her studies and professional experiences to educating clients and their families on mental health. She believes that a better understanding of mental health is the first step in reducing the negative views associated with mental illness.
Caryn prioritizes each of client’s unique needs, concerns, and experiences. Her focus is to ensure that each client feels as comfortable as possible during her sessions by allowing them to actively participate in their treatment goals. When you first meet with Caryn, she will conduct a thorough assessment to gain a better understanding of current needs, symptomology, medical history, and any additional information to best support you. She will work with you in building a foundation of awareness and understanding by ensuring education is provided and that open communication and shared decision-making are key components in your work together.
