TeleHealth is now being used by patients and healthcare providers for routine, urgent, and emergency care. In a just released Podcast, Project Patient Care explores the lifeline that Telemedicine provides to nursing home residents, families, and staff. In this era of COVID-19, many patients are now using TeleHealth for routine chronic care visits; screenings with healthcare providers with COVID-19 symptoms; and new or existing mental and behavioral health condtions. Providers are finding their patients are highly satisfied with the TeleHealth and have asked to continue using it beyond COVID-19.
