Bryce is a clinical therapist and has been serving the community since 2014. Bryce attended the University of Iowa and received a BA in Psychology before moving on to receive his Masters degree in Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Bryce uses several different therapeutic approaches including person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing and ACT. He believes in finding the best in each athlete and using that to create motivation and optimism in one’s life.
Bryce joined the Sports & Performance team to help athletes navigate the different pressures and stress athletics and performance can create. This can include school/sport balance as well as injury recovery. Bryce understands that each athlete is different and should have a place to better understand their own mental health and how they can use it to have a positive impact on their performance.
Bryce enjoys working with serious high school/college student athletes as well as professional athletes, who are seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, ADHD, confidence, or even trying to return from injury. Bryce believes trust and empathy are crucial in the therapeutic relationship and hopes to build a safe and warm environment for each athlete.
