Sue Harvey, MSW, LCSW, ACHP-SW, CT

Sue (she/her/hers) is a compassionate counselor skilled in supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. She holds advanced certifications in bereavement, hospice, and palliative care, and has extensive experience with adults, teens, and children. Sue works with clients individually and in family settings, helping them navigate serious illness, caregiver stress, and loss.

Sue Harvey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with experience working with clients to overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, grief & loss, serious illnesses, women’s issues, family challenges and major life transitions.

Sue also has advanced certifications in bereavement and hospice and palliative care; with extensive experience working with adults, teens and children – both individually and in a familial setting – through serious illness, caregiver stress, grief, and loss.  Sue also specializes in working with medical professionals, therapists and other healthcare workers.

She is very passionate about empathetically joining her clients in their story so they can work together to achieve their goals.  Sue brings a strengths-based, trauma informed approach to her therapeutic practice, recognizing the importance of the client-counselor relationship in facilitating growth and healing. Knowing that each individual is unique, she uses different modalities to meet her client’s needs and help them grow.
