Carli Nehls is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s degree from Aurora University and specialized in counseling. Carli provides individual therapy to all age ranges but focuses on teens and young adults.
Carli has had all-encompassing experience across therapeutic settings, including emergency room psychiatric assessments, inpatient setting, residential treatment center, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and community based and on an outpatient basis. She specializes in treating individuals who suffer from suicidal ideations, self-injuring behaviors, depression, anxiety/panic, personality disorders, trauma, loss, transitional phases, eating disorders and substance abuse/dependence.
Carli utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused and Person-Centered Therapy. She believes in incorporating strengths to empower each client to live out their meaningful life.
Due to Carli’s range of experience across different settings, she understands the importance of building a strong rapport with each client to facilitate a safe and trusting environment.
