Chelsea (she/her/hers) is an experienced Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in working with individuals 18+ and couples struggling with painful communication patterns, relationship conflict, trauma, recovery from religious/spiritual abuse, life transitions, depression/anxiety, and childhood emotional wounds.

Chelsea is a marriage and family therapist, I (she, her, hers) believe the source of our pain often originates in our most important relationships (past and present)—and I believe relationships, including the therapeutic relationship, are also places where we can experience healing and recovery.

Many of us have hurts from childhood and current relationships that lead us to feel alone in pain, confusion, anger, and shame. The good news is that you are not alone, and it is possible to get unstuck from these patterns and experience relief. I support clients in improving their relationships with self and others, discovering new ways to communicate, and moving toward connection and health.

I have a special interest in working with individuals 18+ and couples struggling with painful communication patterns, relationship conflict, trauma, recovery from religious/spiritual abuse, life transitions, depression/anxiety, and childhood emotional wounds. For clients who request it, I enjoy working with issues of faith and spirituality, whether this is supporting clients who are transitioning out of harmful religious systems or clients exploring the integration of faith in their lives. I utilize a variety of approaches depending on the specific needs of my clients, primarily using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and client-centered approaches. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for couples seeking premarital counseling.

I have personally experienced the benefits of therapy in my own life, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their own therapy journeys. I seek to provide a safe, accepting, and welcoming space for my clients to process messy human experiences and relationships in a way that leads to growth and healing.
