Dave is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor at Grow Wellness Group. He comes with extensive experience helping clients navigate a broad spectrum of challenges. His areas of expertise include treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, men’s issues, athletes and sports performance, navigating pressures and expectations of coaches, career counseling, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.
Understanding that life can present unexpected challenges, Dave is dedicated to providing a supportive and compassionate space for growth and healing. He believes in the power of therapy to offer hope and facilitate personal development. His approach is rooted in active listening, clear communication, and creating a collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their concerns. Dave employs a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and client-centered techniques. Together, we will learn from your past, engage with your present, and set meaningful intentions for your future.
Dave’s professional journey includes working in a variety of settings, including private practice, residential treatment facilities, inpatient hospitals, and community outreach programs. Dave also provides strategic oversight and leadership to the Grow Sport Psychology team and serves as the Director of our Clinical Internship Program at Grow Wellness Group. He also plays an active role in advancing community mental wellness initiatives through his involvement with the Grow Wellness Foundation.
In his free time, Dave is a passionate sports fan, enjoys traveling the world, and loves spending time with his two pups Woodford and Winston.
