Katelyn (she/her/hers) is an experienced Family & Marriage Therapist specializing in helping clients aged 18+ with anxiety, depression, anger, adjustment disorders, bullying, grief, parenting, communication, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, sex therapy, women’s issues, and more.

Katelyn is a Marriage & Family Therapist. She has a well-rounded experience in working with clients from all walks of life – primarily with individuals (18 and up), couples, and families with expertise ready to serve you. Katelyn grew up in the Naperville community, so she has a great understanding of the area in which she serves. Some of her specialty areas include but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, anger, adjustment disorders, bullying, grief, parenting, communication, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, sex therapy, women’s issues, and resilience.

Katelyn is a certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator for couples looking to work on their relationship with evidence-based research, as well as certified in Gottman levels 1 & 2 therapy. In addition, she has been trained to conduct therapy from a systemic approach, and enjoys utilizing Bowen’s Family Systems Theory specifically in her work.

Katelyn creates a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment in which you will feel comfortable with from the start. She utilizes empathy, trust, client-focused, collaboration, and resilience as a foundation for the environment created for clients. The therapeutic relationship is the base line for success when working towards your goals, and Katelyn is more than happy to work and help guide you along your journey!

In Katelyn’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two active dogs and volunteering in the community! You might also catch Katelyn singing from time to time as well in the office!
