When working with children, KJ believes that partnering with parents to assist them in developing skills and tools to best support their children when they experience big emotions.  KJ incorporates neuroscience in his work with parents to help them understand the why behind their children’s behaviors.

He believes that all humans have an innate value and this value that every individual possesses can sometimes be lost or forgotten. Adversity and pain not only rob individuals of their self-worth, but also keeps them from becoming the best version of themselves. KJ makes it his priority to create a safe, supportive, and transformative space for others to rediscover their inherent value and overcome adversity. Trauma, substance use challenges, hardship, and other multilayered mental health issues do not define a person’s worth or what they can achieve. It is his mission and passion to remind his fellow human beings of this and support them as they navigate their unique struggles. KJ’s goal is to meet every client where they are within their therapeutic healing. KJ works in-person and remote and hopes to support you while you navigate this journey called life!
