My name is Molly Lown and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults of all ages, couples and families. I have had the pleasure of providing therapeutic services in a myriad of settings including: outpatient and inpatient behavioral health hospitals/treatment centers, mental health courts within the legal system, schools, chronic care facilities and private practice.
I truly love working with individuals and families of all ages from varied backgrounds. My primary focus currently lies with individuals ages 17 and up who are working to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, major life events, adjustments/transitions, and chronic health issues.
It is my sincere belief that we are social creatures who work together to express and process our emotions, navigate through life’s greatest obstacles, and create viable solutions to assist in our day-to-day lives. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe, truly therapeutic environment where I vow to take a non-judgmental stance in meeting my clients where they are while remaining dedicated to their personal growth on our journey together. I value honesty, compassion, and empathic support. As a therapist, I remain mindful in my practice, encouraging and teaching mindfulness strategies as an approach to coping with daily life. If given the opportunity to work with you, I can promise an open, collaborative environment where you will always be heard.
